As part of UZMA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, we are proud to support the Green Project at Zoo Negara Malaysia (ZNM). This meaningful program assists zookeepers in their daily care routines for wildlife, including animal husbandry, exhibit cleaning, food preparation, and enrichment activities that promote natural behaviors.

In addition to hands-on support, UZMA has made a financial contribution to cover the annual expenses of the Arabian Oryx, one of United Arab Emirates iconic and endangered species. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and biodiversity conservation.

In response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the State of Palestine, UZMA is honored to present a cheque to Emirates Red Crescent to assist in alleviating the suffering of vulnerable Palestinians.

The situation in Palestine remains a protracted crisis, with many families struggling to live with dignity and access essential resources. Through this donation, Emirates Red Crescent will continue its efforts to mobilize humanitarian aid, providing critical support for the basic needs of those living under occupation.

UZMA stands in solidarity with the people of Palestine, and we are committed to contributing to the long-term relief efforts that aim to bring hope and help to those who need it most.

As part of UZMA’s ongoing commitment to supporting those in need, Mr. Roslan Chik, representing the company, recently participated in the Ramadhan & Hari Raya ASNAF 2023 Program in Kemaman, Terengganu. During this event, UZMA made a generous cash donation to Badan Amal Kebajikan Al Meizan (BAKAM) to aid the asnaf group, orphans, single mothers, and individuals affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This contribution is part of UZMA’s broader CSR initiatives aimed at alleviating hardship and supporting vulnerable communities, especially during the holy month of Ramadhan and the festive Hari Raya season.

UZMA remains dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need, fostering a spirit of giving and compassion in every community we serve.

UZMA is proud to support the efforts of Persatuan Cina Muslim (MACMA KL) and other NGOs and government bodies in their initiatives to assist in the positive development and integration of new converts to Islam. As part of this ongoing commitment, UZMA has contributed cash donations to help make the Back to School Program a success, providing essential support for the children of newly converted individuals.

In addition, UZMA has also provided zakat to support asnaf converts. This financial assistance plays a vital role in meeting the economic needs of new brothers and sisters in Islam, helping them to overcome challenges and build a stable foundation for their futures.

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting communities in need, UZMA reached out to single mothers during the Ramadan Program in April 2023. The company’s representative in Ampang presented contributions in the form of essential food supplies to support families during the holy month.

The donations were received by Kelab Kasih Perihatin, an organization dedicated to easing the burdens of vulnerable groups, including single mothers. This initiative aims to not only provide immediate relief but also inspire hope and empowerment, encouraging recipients to live more comfortable and fulfilling lives.

UZMA remains dedicated to fostering a spirit of giving, especially during times when support is needed most, and continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing hardship.

In February 2023, UZMA partnered with Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ehsan Ash-Shakur (PEKEAS) to organize a Back to School Program at Mydin Supermarket, Rawang. This program saw the participation of 50 orphans, who were each provided with essential school supplies, including uniforms, shoes, and other necessary items to help them start the new school year on the right foot.

In addition to the school supplies, UZMA also extended cash donations to the orphans as a token of encouragement and support, helping to ease their financial burdens.

This initiative reflects UZMA’s continued commitment to giving back to the community and supporting the future of children in need, empowering them to succeed academically and thrive in their personal growth.

On 30th May 2022, during the month of Syawal, UZMA continued its tradition of supporting those in need by delivering food donations to 100 residents of Asnaf in Pangsapuri Mutiara Magna, Kepong. The symbolic handover, which included a donation of Tishas Food’s dry and frozen food items worth RM20,000, was made to help enliven the Eid celebrations for the recipients.

This generous contribution is made possible through the business wakalah zakat fund of Uzma Oil & Gas LLC, UAE. The donation was officially presented by Mr. Muhd Fauzan Azharuddin, HRD Manager of Uzma Oil & Gas LLC, UAE, and witnessed by Mr. Mohammed Hassan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Operations) of PPZ-MAIWP.

On 7 April 2022 – The well-being and welfare of the residents of the Kuala Lumpur Homeless Transit Center continues to be given attention by Carimin in conjunction with the Month of Ramadan. At the Ramadan Bersama Komuniti Siri 1 Program, they received RM100 Cash Assistance from FAMA Sustenance Basket worth RM100 with a total assistance of RM 16,000.00. The donation was presented by Carimin at Anjung Kelana, Desa Tasik. This program is arranged during Ramadan to ensure that every layer of society is treated kindly and Carimin will continue to play a role in distributing aid to the asnaf.
